Biography

As a proud Mexican-American Latina, I am committed to providing culturally appropriate therapy services in both English and Spanish. My passion for helping others has guided me on a journey as a licensed professional counselor, where I strive to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for individuals and families.
I firmly believe that we all have a purpose in life and a path toward self-actualization. Through counseling and the therapeutic process, I work alongside my clients to identify current struggles, build on existing strengths, and develop new tools for personal growth and healing.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client's needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief Counseling, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Integration of Spirituality, Child Play Therapy & Expressive Arts Interventions.
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including migration trauma and survivors of crime, as well as those navigating grief and loss, anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional disabilities, and PTSD. My services extend to children, adolescents, adults, and families, ensuring compassionate and comprehensive care for all.
Whether you are facing life’s challenges, healing from past experiences, or seeking personal development, I am here to walk beside you on your journey toward resilience and well-being.
